I’m Kim. I’m a writer and illustrator from London.

Ten years ago I moved to London and started working as a music journalist. I’ve written for NME, Time Out, CLASH, The Line of Best Fit, the BBC and more. Click ARTICLES to read some of my work.

I still occasionally write about bands, artists and albums I love and am always happy to chat music BUT right now I’m busy working on my first book and drawing the pictures too! Take a look at my GALLERY and follow my progress on INSTAGRAM.

When I’m not writing or drawing I run drama, creative writing and art workshops for children in schools, galleries, community centers and beyond. I currently have residencies at The Bright Emporium and Clapham Books. Find out more and see all my upcoming workshops here

When I’m not writing, drawing or teaching you might find me performing with electronic pop wonder FEMME or recording Voice Overs.

And if I’m not doing any of those things then I’m probably trying to get better at yoga or counting down the days until the next Glastonbury Festival. Or sleeping. Maybe I’ll just be sleeping. Sometimes that’s good too

Kim x

P.S. Music nerd friends! My When I Heard You podcast is currently on hiatus (it will be back!) but you can still listen to past episodes here.
